THK's unique rack & pinion mechanism can prevent cage misalignment and increase the advantage of stability in light and smooth motion. The limited-stroke cross-roller guide without rolling element circulation may cause the cage to dislocate due to vibration, inertial force, shock, etc. caused by the equipment drive. Misalignment of the retainer can cause large changes in sliding resistance, stroke, and possibly equipment failure. The VRG type has a cage dislocation prevention mechanism, which suppresses the cage dislocation problem unique to the cross-roller guide, and at the same time realizes smooth and stable continuous operation, which is beneficial to the long life of the equipment.
